Toni graduated from Rutgers University, Cook College with a degree in Human Nutrition and Foods. She went on to complete an extensive internship at The New York Hospital Cornell University Medical Center.

Originally from New York Toni moved to the North Carolina in 1993.

Her work in New York focused on cardiac rehab and weight management as well as other areas of clinical nutrition and wellness. During this time she also consulted with individual members of the New York Rangers.

Upon moving to North Carolina her career took a slightly different direction and she began to work within the mental health system focusing on the nutritional needs of those with mental illness.

Toni came to work at Duke in October of 2002. She enjoys working in the areas of cardiac health and obesity prevention.
