Pat received her BA in Medical Technology from Shippensburg University and Reading Hospital and Medical Center in Pennsylvania. In Pennsylvannia, she worked in hospital settings for 13 years in Hematology and Chemistry. At Duke, Pat first worked in Clinical Labs at Duke Family Medicine and then joined Student Health in August of 2002.  Pat is currently the Lab Director of the Duke Student Health Lab, which is a CLIA moderate-complexity lab and COLA approved.
