Sharon received her CNA II certification from Piedmont Community College. She is currently pursuing her Associate Degree in Nursing at Durham Technical Community College. She is very interested in the area of Student Health and and can't imagine herself anyplace else. Sharon is a member of the American College Health Association and serves on the Vaccine Preventable Disease Task Force.

Sharon has been at Duke since 1996 and with Student Health since 1997. She currently wears two hats in Student Health. The first and busiest is that of Immunization Coordinator, the second is as a clinic assistant sr. She loves taking care of students and being here to assist them in any way she can.

In her spare time she tries to get to Atlanta, GA as often as possible to spoil her three beautiful granddaughters. They keep her young and call her the "fun Nana."
