Who made the decision that international students must have the Duke sponsored insurance?

The Student Health Insurance Advisory Committee is a group of graduate and professional students that review the current Duke sponsored program and policies and make recommendations for the next year. After a thorough review and hours of discussion, the group agreed to several policy changes. One policy made by university administration is that all international students with F-1 and J-1 nonimmigrant visa status will be enrolled in the Duke sponsored insurance.
