- I'd like the Healthy Devil peer educators to present to my group/dorm. How do I request a program to be scheduled?
-
If you're considering scheduling a program, follow these three simple steps:
1) Pick a topic - Talk to your residents/members, talk to the Health Promotion staff, and consult with other RAs in order to decide on a topic that's of interest to everyone. Attendance will depend on it.
2) Pick a time - Figure out two or three dates and times that would work for you and your hall/organization.
3) Request a program - Fill out the online program request form at least 2 weeks before you want the program, or contact any member of the Health Promotion staff to arrange a program directly.
Note: Do not wait until the end of the semester to contact us for a program. Program requests made late in the semester may be scheduled for the following semester.Once you have requested a program, a peer educator or member of the Health Promotion staff will get in touch with you to finalize a time for your presentation. Then you can arrange all the logistics and discuss exactly what you want to be covered in your program with the presenter(s). Just prior to the program, the presenter(s) will contact you to confirm all details related to the program.
Note: If a conflict arises that may impact attendance (i.e. basketball games, guest speaker on campus, etc.) please call and reschedule — don't hope for the best.
