5 Better Ways to Weigh Your Health

Focus on your health rather than the scale. Consider:

  1. How do you feel? Are you tired or do you generally feel energized?

  2. What can your body do? Can you run a couple of miles, complete a 45-minute aerobics class, or ride a bike on your favorite trail? Measure your health by what you can accomplish.

  3.  How do you eat? Do you eat when you are hungry, stop when you are full, and include fruits and vegetables in your meals?

  4.  What is your mood? Are you happy or do you feel down?

  5.  How do you move? Are you active every day?
