In November, many Americans quit smoking in observance of the Great American Smokeout. If you've been thinking about quitting smoking, now's a great time to do it! Pledge to quit for day. Plan to quit for a lifetime. The Substance Abuse Prevention and Health Promotion (SAPHP) Center wants to help. Call 668-5666 for more information on smoking cessation services.
Look for Healthy Devil peer educators and SAPHP staff November 18th on the Bryan Center Plaza. Learn about services available on campus to help you or a friend quit smoking. Find tips on how to help a friend who wants to quit smoking. Get information on social smoking, hookah and secondhand smoke. Also, learn how to get involved with efforts to strengthen campus tobacco policies.
