Staffing and Services
The Allergy Clinic is staffed by a nurse with specialized training in administering allergy immunotherapy. If you wish to receive allergy injections, please schedule an Initial Allergy Clinic Visit by calling 681-WELL or schedule an appointment online by logging on to our system using your Duke Net ID. Please plan to be on-time for your scheduled appointment. Note: Late arrivals will have to reschedule.
You will not be able to recieve an allergy injection on your initial visit. All orders must be approved by a Duke Student Health Physician first
If you have never received an allergy injection you must receive your first dose from your allergist.
Allergy injections will NOT be given without current written orders and injection schedule from the prescribing physician. Please provide your Allergist with the Request for Allergy Immunotherapy - Non SHS Provider form. You must provide your own sera, which you must bring to the Student Health Center and can then be stored at the Allergy Clinic. Note: We cannot accept sera that are mailed directly to the Student Health Center.
Allergy injections (not the sera) are covered by the Duke Student Health Fee.
