About the Women’s Health Clinic
The medical staff and the Office of Health Promotion work together to provide a variety of women’s health services as a part of the Women’s Health Clinic at the Student Health Center.
Available services include:
- Annual gynecologic exams
- Clinical breast exams
- Pap smears
- Colposcopy (a visual exam of the cervix – done to examine the cause of abnormalities in a Pap smear)
- Contraceptive counseling
- Contraception prescriptions
- Emergency contraception
- Nutritional counseling
- Pregnancy diagnosis
- Pregnancy counseling (reviewing options related to adoption, abortion and parenting)
