About the Healthy Devils peer education program

The Healthy Devils peer education program is made up of students who are dedicated to making a difference on campus. They enjoy listening to their peers and having frank discussions about important health issues facing college students. They also like to have fun and maintain a sense of humor while working to make Duke a better, healthier place.

Healthy Devils are trained in specific areas of health, and then bring this information to the campus community in order to enrich the Duke experience for all students. The Healthy Devils peer education program includes four student groups: DELISH, ESTEEM, MINDS, and STAR. Each group focuses on a specific health topic: sexual health, body image and nutrition, mental health awareness, and tobacco, alcohol and other drug use. All peer educators are also knowledgeable about a variety of health resources available to Duke students on and around campus.
